Paper Blooms meets Poppy Moments!

I don’t often make cards that are not CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) and even though this is a super basic design it was nice to get in there and create! My cardstock was chosen after I settled on my choice of paper from the designer series paper “Paper Blooms”. You can earn this DSPContinue reading “Paper Blooms meets Poppy Moments!”

Too much fudge is never enough…

One of my daughter’s friends was just about to celebrate a milestone birthday.  Sally is allergic to cocoa butter and so can not have a lot of the chocolate that is available in the shops.  We have worked out the cooking chocolate that we can use in my fudge recipe that you can find here.Continue reading “Too much fudge is never enough…”

Easy effective watercolour backgrounds!

The Watercolour Pencils have certainly been the focus of my crafting of late.  This background is so easy to achieve.  The harder you press with your pencils the deeper the colour you will achieve with your background.  Once you have coloured onto your background (I used Watercolour paper) use your Aqua Painter to go overContinue reading “Easy effective watercolour backgrounds!”

Adaptability!

There are times where you may have the perfect card but the wrong sentiment (and no time to make a completely different card…)   Just add a background coordinating punch with your punched out sentiment and you’re good to go! If you’d like to make this card check out these detailed instructions here. This isContinue reading “Adaptability!”

Sick of these dragonflies yet? I’m not :)

While researching different watercolour cards I came across this one by Chantal.  I still prefer Chantal’s version however here is the one we have been making at my recent classes. You can ink up the stripe background stamp and then spritz water directly onto the stamp before stamping onto the paper (in this case it isContinue reading “Sick of these dragonflies yet? Butterfly Birthday Wishes

It’s wonderful to get inspiration from Pinterest, it is certainly my favourite place to go and collect ideas.  If you are not yet confident with how to use Pinterest please let me know and I’ll run you through the basics. I found this card from Fanny and loved it.  I made a few changes andContinue reading “Butterfly Birthday Wishes”

Birthday Wishes

Today I’m sharing another card made with a 30th birthday in mind.  I think this card is special enough for any milestone birthday.  The gold dots are actually an foil on acetate overlay, if you use it showing the other side they look silver.  I’ve used adhesive underneath the Bermuda bay section and under theContinue reading “Birthday Wishes”

Remember 30?

I was recently asked if I would make a card on a friend’s behalf.  As I had the time I decided to challenge myself and see what I could come up with.  The card was going to be the bigger A5 style that I rarely make and so I find much harder. Pinterest was greatContinue reading “Remember 30?”

Do more of what makes you happy!

A big stash of incomplete cards were found during my recent studio tidy up – tonight I had the chance to make them all up, I’ve decided they’re the perfect cards to send out to my downline to show my appreciation of their support to me and my business. The flower stamp had retired sinceContinue reading “Do more of what makes you happy!”

The year of the wedding!

This year some very special family members are getting married! It is so super exciting and I’ve already made their card (thanks to a friend coming over who was also making wedding cards and therefore got me inspired.)   This card also works in silver but as you can see I’ve made it with ShimmerContinue reading “The year of the wedding!”
