Here we are at day 6 of my own scrapbooking challenge…“to complete an unfinished layout or create a new one from scratch every day for the next 30 days”. Check out this first post here to get some more information on my children’s scrapbooks *day one*
As I was going through my scrapbooks I was certain that I had started pages that I couldn’t see in the albums. I searched through some 12×12 paper holders that I often take to scrapbooking weekends and BAM I found some unfinished pages.
Here is one that I finished off. I’m not sure if this is exactly how I had first planned it. When I found it the letters were cut and stuck down and some of the papers were prepared. I think it needs something “else” but I’ll leave it for now. This is when Zane started Prep, this page is repeated across all four albums (even Tegan’s first day of school is in Zane’s album – Zane wasn’t even born then).
“Simple pages, completed albums”, my besties and I hated that motto and refused to live by it. Maybe that is why this simple page just isn’t “enough”.
This designer series paper was Stampin’ Up! but is long retired. The letters have been cut from Night Of Navy and the matching thick twine is currently available.
See you tomorrow for day 7!
