“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my Mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping’.” – Fred Rogers.
You can help to spread some love to a young lady currently going through a rough patch. At the age of 14 there is so much more that she should be doing rather than hospital stays and painful tests and treatments!
Steph and I have worked on many launch events together and we have often directed a lot of our energy towards various charities. This time we want to show Piper that people care through the power of paper craft.
Piper and her family are dear friends to Steph and her family. As it is a small world it is also not surprising to know that I went to high school with Piper’s Dad!
At our launch event I had made a fabric covered canvas with plenty of pegs to attach handmade cards to. Steph had designed four gorgeous cards for our guests to make for Piper with a gold coin donation. Piper will be given the display board and cards to have to brighten her room (her favourite colour is yellow) and the gold coins to buy a little something for herself.
It’s never too late to contribute. Make a card and write your message to Piper and either drop it off to me or send it to me

and I’ll get it to Piper ASAP.
Never underestimate the thrill of snail mail!
Thank you to all those who have already contributed!
