I was recently asked if I would make a card on a friend’s behalf. As I had the time I decided to challenge myself and see what I could come up with. The card was going to be the bigger A5 style that I rarely make and so I find much harder.
Pinterest was great for inspiration as always. My friend has chosen this card but I do have a few others to show you and I hope to go back to Pinterest and complete some more based on the inspiration I pinned.
You will see the full list of items used below. I have used the watercolour pencils and an aqua painter to get the colour onto the card (watercolour paper). I embossed the card front last. Not included below are the retired Basic Black Satin Ribbon and the numbers which were from a retired alphabet set (Timeless Type Junior Alphabet). The stamp “Birthday” is from the stamp set “Tin of Cards” and I managed to cut out the “th” after 30 by using “thx” in the circle card Thinlit set (pictured here below, sadly it is now retired).
