Share a cup…

Sometimes you just want to give someone a little something, these are perfect.

The step by step photographic instructions are here.  They do require pretty much a full sheet of DSP for each one.

The stamp is the little “Share a cup”.  It has been stamped in ink (you will need to use a mask to get the layering of cups, email me for more information if you don’t understand :)) and then painted with a mixture of Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

These ones use the new Sweet Stitches DSP:

Here are what they look like open:

As you can see a tea bag fits perfectly inside the little flap, you could put a second tea bag inside the other flap, or a little note.  Here are some suggestions of poems you may like to use (I found them here)

–Overseas Poem—
There are too many miles between us
for me to get to you.
So I am sending you a tea bag and this will
have to do.
So make your self a cup of tea
and when you drink it I’ll think of you and
you think of me
together sharing a cup of tea.

I cannot sit and chat with you,
the way I’d like to do.
So brew yourself a cup of tea,
I’ll think of you, you think of me.

—-Feeling Sad—-
When you are feeling sad & blue
And have no clue what to do
Sit down and have a cup of tea
And a hug or two or maybe three
Feel those troubles melt away
And start you on a better day.

—-Tea Cure All—
Tea that helps our head and heart.
Tea medicates most every part.
Tea rejuvenates the very old.
Tea warms the hands of those who’re cold.
(J. Jonker, Amsterdam circa 1670 )

If I could take your Troubles,
I would toss them in the Sea.
But since I can’t, I’m sending you,
My favorite cup of tea.
