Bordering on Romance

Here is a beautiful new Stamp Set from the current Autumn/Winter Mini (speaking of Winter, there is certainly a chill in the air, I’m so grateful my husband has been chopping wood today!).  This Stamp Set is called “Bordering on Romance”, I don’t own it so I was extra happy that Steph used it on her card at a recent team meeting….

We actually used a sponge dauber to build up the colour on the flowers, I think it looks very effective and may be easier for many than a aqua painter or a blender pen.  We used a square punch to get that nice even cut at the bottom of the DSP (which is also from the Mini and is called “Twitterpated”.  The side was cut and embossed using the Big Shot and the “Adorning Accents” Edgelits Dies and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.
The sentiment is from “Teeny Tiny Sentiments”.

Happy Stampin’

  1. Your dauber technique is better than mine, Bec. Love the changes to your blog, looks great!

I hope Steph gives me back my stamp so I can play with it some more….:-D
