Here is a chocolate box cover I made at a recent class just as the previous Catalogue was retiring….
It is using the retired DSP “Elegant Soiree”, Baja Breeze cardstock and a bit of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (with a rhinestone brad feature). The scallop border punch is such a great easy effect. A friend’s birthday was just approaching and I wanted to make her a birthday card to match. There were certain criteria….firstly (and obviously) it must be handmade, her favourite colour is blue, the sentiment must be crooked, the cardstock needed to be misaligned, there must be a fly (yes, that is strange, there is a story attached, just ask me) and last but not least she is brad worthy. What is brad worthy do you ask? Well, have you ever had an occasion and you ask yourself, is this person worth my effort of making them a homemade creation? Well, further to that…how “good” should this homemade art be? Do they “deserve” ribbon? Should they get brads? Well, as you can see, my friend is totally Brad worthy……
So, while this card would not be one I would put on display, it certainly ticked all my boxes….
Happy Stampin’
the card is TOTES supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!!! Fly was the *perfect* touch and the bling catches the light at every angle – best card EVER!
