This is one of the projects at my masculine class. We had our first class yesterday and everyone was amazed at how easy this faux leather wallet was.
The photo doesn’t do this project justice, it is really effective in real life. All you need is your cardstock, versamark, clear embossing powder, bone folder and a heat gun.
Here it is open…
Last Father’s Day I helped my kids to make these little inserts for the wallet:
The kids loved being able to share their thoughts with the most special man in their lives. Pete really loved this “card”, it was easy for me to find as he keeps it on his shelf in our wardrobe (not many of his paper craft gifts are treasured this much).
Here it is all put together (there would still be room for cash behind the front pockets).
I think the class participants will go on to have a lot of creative fun with this project. Imagine it filled with different gift cards as a combined wedding/21st gift. Or change the colour of the cardstock (Chocolate Chip has been used above) and make it more feminine for a gift for a woman. No limits!
Happy Stampin’ (and heat embossing)
Bec.
Love it ,made another one today in Early Espresso and I think it looks good in that too.
