Lily and Paige’s Birthday comes only six weeks after Tegan’s, each year it feels like a bit of a rush, this year was not any different! To help with my preparations I decided to recreate the Ice Cream Parlour for Paige and Lily as it was so popular for Tegan’s party (and I already had all of the stuff).
I did want the invitations to be a little different so I tried out the criss-cross invitation idea that we recently did at the Christmas in July Classes. For this invitation I changed the orientation to portrait style (which only uses half a sheet of 12×12, opposed to a full sheet of A4 that is required for the landscape style.)
The DSP is from the Subtles Patterned Paper Pack. The ribbon is retired Pink Pirourette from last year. The Cup Cake punch has been used for the “scoops” of ice-cream and the cone has been run through the square lattice embossing folder to give it that great waffle look. The cardstock is Crumb Cake.
