We had a lovely day on Tuesday when doing the Calendar Class. Mum made these yummy treats for us all, so here’s the recipe to share:
MOCHA LATTICE SLICE
- 2 Packets Arnott’s Lattice biscuits
- 2 tsp. Gelatine
- 60 mls water
- 125 grams Unsalted Butter –chopped
- 375 grams Philly Cream cheese
- 1 cup Caster Sugar
- 60 mls Nutella
- 1 tablespoon of Kahlua or Tia Maria
- 2 teaspoons dry instant Coffee
Cover base and make sides of 23cm square slab cake pan with foil. Place half the biscuits, glazed side down.
Dissolve the gelatine in a half a cup of warm water.
Beat butter, cheese and sugar in small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add Nutella and Kahlua while mixing.
Dissolve coffee in the gelatine mix and add while mixing.
Spread mixture over the biscuits and place another layer of biscuits on top of mixture glazed side up.
Place in fridge until it has set.
