I needed a few cards and had a limited amount of time so the quickest way for me to do this is to make a stack of the same design and just change the sentiment to suit the occasion.
Stamp set: Butterfly Prints. Sentiments from “Family Phrases” or “Pocket Silhouettes”.
Cardst0ck: Almost Amethyst, Lavender Lace, Very Vanilla.
Designer Series Paper: Non Stampin’ Up! from my craft stash.
Ribbon: from the ribbon promotion (now finished).
Accessories: Eyelet border punch, word window punch. Rhinestone brads, dimensionals.
It was interesting to make these cards as a couple of the intended recipients love purple, however I didn’t have any Stampin’ Up! patterned paper in that colour, thus I raided my other stash. I was then having to try to match the plain colours and the ribbon…yikes! It reminded me that it is so much easier to use our Stampin’ Up! DSP as everything coordinates so beautifully!
Happy Stampin’
As soon as I saw this card I ignored all the other more pressing things that I should have been doing and sat down to make it. Now that I look at the picture I realise that the sentiment is missing…I’ll just have to add that later!
Here is a card that I made for a recent ESAD-SU blog hop to celebrate the new Summer Mini. It was a chance to participate in a hop from the blogs of many other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators within a Yahoo group to which I am a member. It generated a heap of visits and comments to my blog, losing all those comments was the saddest thing about changing websites recently
