If you follow my page on Facebook you would have seen this little furry friend many times. Spartacus is a very enthusiastic participant at each class, he will steal your seat once you get up to use the Big Shot and is keen to check out what is in your handbag. He also seems to know exactly where to be to get completely in the way!
I really do love to colour in. Last year my daughters and I got one of the adult colouring in books and some beautiful pencils and embraced the craze along with everyone else. The love of colouring had not started there though, I have always enjoyed colouring our Stampin’ Up! images with the blender pen or aqua painter. I know many of my friends don’t share my enthusiasm but I really do think that the new Stampin’ Up! pencils combined with a blender pen will change all of that.
This Designer Series paper featured here is an item you can earn for free through Sale-a-bration. It is the “Inside the lines” DSP found on page 11 of the Sale-a-bration brochure. The watercolour pencils are found on page 24 of the occasions catalogue. I have finished off this card with the new “Detailed Dragonfly” thinlits cut in both Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and silver foil and stamped a sentiment from “Balloon Adventures” in versa mark and heat set with silver embossing powder. This card is so much nicer in real life.
Check out this video for more information about our new Water Colour Pencils. I’ll make sure that our future classes together give you a chance to try them for yourself.
Here’s a card designed by Steph, she’s been super busy over on her blog, you’ll find lots of beautiful inspiration there.
We made this card at a recent team meeting that I hosted way back in early November. It uses a fantastic new stamp set “Balloon Adventures” that starts today in the “Occasions” catalogue. You can follow this link to see it online, or let me know if I can send you a copy (as long as you don’t already have an Australian demonstrator of your own).
I’m so happy to be back in my craft room today! So far the school holidays have been full of beach holidays, Christmas gatherings, playdates and home organisation. My focus is now on classes and creating, sounds pretty great to me!
As I continue sorting through photos I came across this one of my son in 2010, I felt I should share it also (gotta be fair with all the kiddies right?)
He was such a cute little companion throughout my days, his toys were often mixed with my supplies, he loved to try to feed his cars through the Big Shot and a big packet of buttons were always popular. I really missed him once he started school.
As I try to complete a big gift for my eldest daughter I’ve needed to go back through my photos (more details on the gift to come). Tonight I came across this beauty from January 2009 when I joined Stampin’ Up! Here my daughters are stamping the paper that I would print my business details on. Photos are so precious to me, I find scrapbooking takes so long as I tend to get caught up in all the memories!
