Scrapbooking is my first love and it is great to have some pages to show you.  I needed to hurry up and get them posted before these supplies retire on August 31, just a couple of days away!

Here is my gorgeous little Zane, on his first Mother’s Day in 2008, he would have only been about 6 weeks old.  The paper is from Nursery Suite, the edging is not a punch, that is how the paper comes – you get two of these sheets per pack.  The colour of the 12×12 piece is Baja Breeze and I have matched it up with other sheets of DSP from the same pack.  The heart stamp is from the set “Always” which is also just about to retire, I’ll really miss being able to use this set in my classes but will not be able to part with it as I love it.  The “heart” has been cut out with the Basic Letters and the big shot. The smaller letters have been stamped with the set “Just perfect alphabet”.  The ribbon is Old Olive Satin Ribbon.

Here is the feminine version…..

These are my beautiful twins Lily and Paige, I just love how they are looking at each other. Paige is on the left in pink, Lily on the right, such a bad mother as I don’t know exactly how old they are in this photo….

The circle paper is also from the Nursery Suite DSP pack, and just as with the Baja Breeze one in Zane’s layout above, you get two sheets already precut.  This pink is Regal Rose and the other DSP used is from the same pack.  I have used Whisper White Satin Ribbon in this version of the layout.

Hope you like them and most importantly I hope you get some time to scrapbook soon!

Christmas Scrapbooking

I loved this layout as soon as I saw it in the Idea Book and Catalogue and couldn’t wait to recreate it.

Now I just have to add the photos!

Happy Stampin’

Yes, don’t fall over….I have done some Scrapbooking!

I have a scrapbooking class coming up so needed to get organised in giving them a sample project.lily fox  As you can see it similar layout to the one on page 29 Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue but I decided to change the colours a bit (actually that is not really true…I went to make this layout exactly the same but had a mini panic attack when I realised that I didn’t have any 12×12 Kraft so I had improvise).

Here is the girl version.

Stamp Sets: Fox and Friends, Defining Alphabet, Short & Sweet.

Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette.

Inks: Mellow Moss, Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip.

Accessories: Corner Rounder Punch (yes, we do have one, it was accidently left off the catalogue). Dimensionals, Stamp-a-majic, Silver brads and 1/16 hole punch.

The boy version:

zane foxEverything as above except add some Bashful Blue cardstock and ink, and also some Brocade Blue ink for the little whale.

You could do lots more journalling on that blank block, I was time poor so just added the little “love you” stamp.

I wanted to make a more neutral page that did not require photos so quickly whipped up this one:

neutral boxThose blank boxes could be filled up with any journalling that you wanted, such as Birth details.  They are also a place to put stamped sentiments or other words using the defining alphabet stamps such as “love” etc.

The coloured block is So Saffron.  The little fox is Pale Plum and all other colours as listed above.

This is a super easy page, the blocks I have used are 5 cm x 3 inches (sorry about the two different types of measurement!)

Happy Scrapbooking and Stampin’

Chicky Babe

beluga chick pageThis 12×12 inch Scrapbooking layout showcases the devotion my three daughters have for my son.  This is what he would wake up to each morning.  Now he is an almost 2 year old who is often the one to wake them up in the morning…what goes around, comes around 🙂

2010 is the year for scrapbooking for me and many of my friends.  One of my many New Years Goals/Resolutions is to scrapbook more this year!
