I was playing around with some new Autumn Winter Mini goodies and morphed a few card designs together and this is what I ended up with…
This card uses some lovely “Twitterplated” Designer Series Paper along with the “Curly Cute” stamp set and the Heart punches. It also uses the Big Shot to emboss with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and cut out the Scallop Circle. The holes around the edge of the Scallop circle have been made with the small hand held hole punch that we sell through Stampin’ Up! I think it would make a great Anniversary card.
Hope you like it!
My Dad and I have an agreement in regards to the fact that I will make any cards that are required for Mum. Here is my latest project for their anniversary…
The Stamp is new, it is called “Creative Elements”. The ‘amour’ is from “Artistic Etchings”. My colours are Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Early Expresso and Crumb Cake. There has been a lot of sponging with the Emboss Resist technique and Crumb Cake Ink. The flower was cut with the Big Shot and the “Fun Flowers” die (also new and just so gorgeous). The butterfly was also cut with the Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterfly Embosslit. The ribbon is Early Expresso Satin, Pretty in Pink Taffeta and some of the crochet trim. Some pearls finish it off and continue the Shabby Chic Vibe.
Hope Mum loves it.
Well my Wedding envy continues… still not a invite in sight 🙁 However, glad to not be in the position of my dear friend who loves to tell me exactly how many Wedding Invitations are sitting on her fridge… she is currently trying to decide how to attend a wedding up north, with plane tickets booked for the wrong weekend, and also be at a concert AND a scrapbooking weekend. Yeah, good luck with that Nick 🙁
So, instead I shall sit here and copy cards others have made for wedding that they are attending. My inspiration was with this one by Teneale, in a desperate attempt to think for myself I have changed the stamp set to “Elements of Style” and the butterfly to the embosslit ones. Oh, and the ribbon is different. I love the combination of Sahara Sand and Whisper White, it is just so elegant.
Here are some little Owls all set for their big walk down the aisle. This feature would be fantastic on the front of a Wedding card.
Some of our new self adhesive Pearls really enhance this gorgeous pair. I have added the full heart behind them, and also the top of a Scallop Oval for her bridal veil. They just can’t take their eyes off each other!
