Back to school….Stampin’ Up! Style…
I was feeling mighty proud of myself…all the school books are covered, all the supplies are labeled (and have been for a couple of days), then I have the crushing realisation this morning that we have not checked last year’s uniforms for sizes and we are most likely going to need new shoes!!!! ARGH!!!!
Anyway, here are some of our school books:
Paige with her brown paper covered school book and some random stamping from the Stamp Sets “Wild about you” , “Butterfly Prints” and “Bugs and Kisses”.
Lily with one of her books…
Here is Tegan. She did not want brown paper this year so most of hers are done with clear contact (I HATE that stuff!!!!). Her bit of creativity was the front of this scrapbook. We did some layered flowers using the scallop oval and circle punches. The letters were cut using my Sizzix diecuts and there are little heart punched shapes on the stalks for leaves.
Never one to be left out of whatever the girls are doing, Zane was up at the table with us all. Despite the fact that Mum and I were both there, both keeping an eye on them all he still managed this…..
Yep, that would be Pixie Pink Ink all over him as he had decided that he was the stamp!
Good luck getting your cherubs back to school!

Hey there Bec!
Their books look awesome!!! I did that one year for my kids, but I am far too lazy to ever do it again! With the amount of exercise books they have (35 in total plus scrapbooks) no way am I puddling around stamping them all up pretty! lol
This year they have all new plastic book protectors and their books are slid straight in there! Painless and easy for me! lol

I took the lazy way out this year, but feel a bit guilty now I see how gorgeous your children’s books look! Well worth the effort Bec.
And LOL at cheeky Zane.

Sorry Mum, you are very awesome, and you tolerated the fact that “it just so happens we are covering some books, would you like to do a couple?” every single time you visited
